Privacy Policy

This policy explains what personal data we collect when you visit this website or send us an application, why we collect it, and what rights you have. It covers this website only. If you become a Brandtube client, your contract describes how we handle data in the services we provide to you.

Who is responsible for your data

The data controller is BRAND TUBE SRL, with its registered office at Ion Luca Caragiale, Bucharest, Romania, J2016001874407, RO35629101 ("Brandtube", "we").

What we collect

Application form. When you send the application form, we receive what you type into it: your name, email address, company or label name (optional), whether you are an artist, label or catalog owner, your catalog size (optional) and your message.

Technical data. Like every website, ours is delivered by servers that record technical details of each request, such as your IP address, browser type, the page requested and the time. Our hosting provider keeps these records to run and secure the service.

We do not use analytics or advertising trackers, and we do not set cookies of our own.

Why we use it and on what legal basis

• To review your application and reply to you. We do this at your request, as a step towards a possible contract (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR).
• To keep the website secure and working, including blocking spam and abuse. We rely on our legitimate interest in running a safe service (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).

You are not obliged to give us any data, but we cannot reply to an application without a name, an email address and a message. We do not use your data for automated decision-making or profiling, and we do not sell it.

Who receives your data

Your application is read by the Brandtube team. We also use service providers that process data on our behalf or receive it when your browser loads the site:

• Microsoft (Azure). Hosts this website and delivers the application form to our inbox.
• Google (Google Fonts). The fonts on this site are loaded from Google's servers, so your browser sends Google your IP address and browser details when a page loads.

We may also disclose data to public authorities where the law requires it.

Transfers outside the European Economic Area

Some of these providers may process data outside the EEA, including in the United States. Where that happens, the transfer is covered by the EU–US Data Privacy Framework or by the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.

How long we keep it

If your application leads to a contract, we keep it for the life of that contract and for as long afterwards as the law requires. If it does not, we delete it within 12 months of our last contact with you. Server records are kept by our hosting provider for a limited period according to its own retention rules.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you can ask us to:

• give you a copy of the personal data we hold about you;
• correct data that is inaccurate or incomplete;
• delete your data;
• restrict how we use it;
• hand it to you or to another company in a portable format;
• stop using it where we rely on our legitimate interest.

To use any of these rights, write to privacy@brandtube.ro. We reply within one month.

You can also complain to the Romanian data protection authority, Autoritatea Națională de Supraveghere a Prelucrării Datelor cu Caracter Personal (ANSPDCP), at dataprotection.ro, or to the authority in the EU country where you live.

Changes to this policy

If we change how we handle personal data, we will update this page and the date at the top.
